Stop the Jessamine County Tax Increase

On August 28, 2025, the Jessamine County School Board voted to raise your PVA taxes by more than 4% of the state suggested amount. This triggers a Kentucky law that allows citizens to recall the tax increase. 3 local residents have launched a petition effort to recall that tax increase. 

 

If you agree that this increase should be put before the voters, we are asking you to sign the Petition as well as get signatures for the Tax Recall Petition from those you know. Attached is the Petition signature page and a concise explanation of the Tax Recall. Your focus should be directed to the first 2 attachments. Please print them. The other docs are for more in depth info if you want to understand the situation more fully.

All signees MUST be registered Jessamine County voters and each person must sign IN INK. Please come to the office on Saturdays between 10:00-12:00 to sign petition. Office: 127 S. Main St. Nicholasville. If you can't come during those hours, please email JessamineCountygop@gmail.com or text Michael at 859-351-3914. We must have all signatures no later than 10/8/25, so time is of the essence.
