Every four years, registered Republicans in each voting precinct across Kentucky are entitled to participate in their precinct reorgani. At this event, they elect three Precinct Captains (also referred to as Precinct Officers), one of whom must be a Youth Captain, defined as an individual aged 40 or younger at the time of the election. These Precinct Captains serve as representatives of the Republican voters within their precinct and contribute to the leadership of their county’s Republican Party.
